Stay Human
A workshop for teams navigating the pressure to automate everything
AI is making it easier to produce more and harder to stay yourself. Your team feels it even if they can't name it yet. This workshop helps them own their story, find their voice, and show up as themselves in a way no tool can replicate.
Your team is using every tool available to move faster, produce more, and keep up, and it's working on paper, but something got lost along the way. The Slack messages feel hollow, the all-hands feel performative, and people are more productive but less present.
What got lost is the human part, the voice and the story and the point of view that makes your team yours and nobody else's, and that's what this workshop gives back.
A 60-minute keynote experience, with an optional half-day workshop for deeper work.
I use AI every day to brainstorm, get my thoughts out, and move faster, but I've never let it speak for me or replace what makes me who I am. That's the line this workshop helps your team find.
Part 1: What makes you irreplaceable
We start with an exercise that surfaces what each person brings that no tool can replicate, their story, their perspective, the specific experiences that shaped how they think and work, and we help them own it in a way most people never take the time to do.
Part 2: Where you've been outsourcing your voice
We look at where AI has started to replace rather than support, not to shame anyone because everyone in the room is doing it, but to name it, understand what it costs, and make a conscious choice about where the line is.
Part 3: Your team's human edge
The thing that makes your team irreplaceable isn't their output capacity, AI can match that. It's their judgment, their relationships, their specific experience, and the perspective that only comes from the work they've done. This section helps teams name what only they can bring and build practices around protecting it.
Part 4: Building a stay-human practice
We close with something each person can take back to their desk on Monday. How to use AI as a thinking partner without letting it become a replacement, what your team's rules around AI and voice should look like, and the one question to ask before anything goes out: does this sound like us?
The human stuff drives the business results. Here's what that looks like.
I've been doing this work from the inside, building communities, leading workshops, and coaching people through the pressure to perform for over a decade. At Square, paying attention to the human signals in a community prevented $2M in customer churn, not from a new product or a discount, but from real people showing up for other real people. That story is the foundation of this workshop.

How long is the workshop?
The core experience is 60 minutes with Q&A. For teams that want to go deeper, there's a half-day option that includes breakout exercises and a team action plan. Tell me what you have and I'll make it work.
Can this be customized for our team?
Always. I tailor every workshop to your team's specific situation, industry, and what you want people to walk away with. This isn't a canned presentation.
Is this available virtually?
Yes. I prefer in-person because the energy is different, but I've run plenty of virtual sessions and I know how to make them feel like a real conversation rather than a webinar.
What size teams does this work for?
I've run workshops for teams of 10 and rooms of 500. The content holds at any size. For the half-day format with breakout exercises, under 100 is the sweet spot.
How do we get started?
Book a discovery call or send me an email. We'll talk about your team, what you're navigating, and whether this is the right fit. No pressure, just a real conversation.
If your team is feeling the pressure to automate everything and you want to help them hold onto what makes them human, let's talk.
